PodReadAI transcribes podcasts and lets you read and chat with your transcripts. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

• We use your data to provide PodReadAI and to keep improving the service.
• You can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us below.
• Some trusted service providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards are used.

• Basic account details from Google sign-in, such as your name, email address, and Google account ID.
• The podcast content you choose to process. Audio is temporary, while transcripts and summaries are saved until you remove them.

• To sign you in with Google.
• To transcribe podcasts and generate summaries.
• To answer your questions about a transcript. Chat replies are generated with OpenAI, but we do not save chat history in our app database.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

• Your transcripts and summaries are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure.
• Google sign-in is used for account access, and your session is kept in your browser until you sign out.
• Chat replies use OpenAI. Transcription is handled through our own backend workflow.

• We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in, return you to the right place after sign-in, remember your theme preference, and keep track of an in-progress transcription.
• We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site profiling tools.
• Some temporary performance data may be kept only for your current tab to help repeated views load faster.
• You can sign out to clear your session, and you can clear browser site data at any time to remove saved preferences and temporary markers.

• Raw audio uploads are temporary. We try to remove them after processing, and the upload bucket also expires them automatically within 7 days.
• Transcripts and summaries stay until you delete them or delete your account.
• We do not store chat history in our app database, and we do not intentionally write chat message content to our application logs.
• You can export transcripts to HTML/PDF.
• Deleting your account removes your transcripts and profile from our systems. In some cases, we may keep a limited record until the next monthly reset date to prevent abuse of service limits.

• We use encryption while data is being sent and while it is stored.
• Access to data is limited to the parts of the system that need it to run the service.
• Google sign-in helps protect your account without requiring a local password.
